A
six-sided nut with a nylon-filled
collar at its back end and metric
thread pitch. When a bolt or screw
reaches the collar, the threads and
nylon form a tight, frictional fit,
restricting movement of the fastener
when it is subjected to vibration.
Generally manufactured in accordance
with DIN Standard 985.
