Alloy Steel/Stainless Steel/Carbon Steel:
A pre-threaded bar with metric thread pitch which may be cut to length with a metal cutting hacksaw or power band saw. A nut will move easily over clean cut ends. Only minimal burr removal may be required from rough cut ends.

Metric Threaded Rod (DIN 975):
